Hello!
My name is Melissa Serrano, and I am a realtor-broker serving the Greater Tampa Bay area. I am a listing specialist where I assist homeowners maximize their home value.

My Roots
My parents migrated from the Philippines in the late 1970s to establish themselves in the Metropolitan DC area, where I was born and raised.
After finishing high school, I moved to New Jersey and New York for college, before transferring to Tampa, FL in 2002. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from USF. My journey in real estate started in 2001, collaborating with a real estate attorney in NY and later working as a processor and escrow officer in FL. In 2016, I made the shift to residential sales.
Wife & Mother
One of my important roles in life is being a mother to my son, and a positive influence to my bonus daughter along with being a loving and supportive wife to my husband.
Travel Enthusiast
My husband and I have a passion for traveling! Whether it's just the two of us or with our family, we cherish every moment together. Introducing our children to new experiences is truly a blessing. When we travel, I particularly enjoy admiring the architecture and landscapes of different homes and communities. Georgia is one of my top picks for its stunning homes, blending southern charm with classic beauty.
My Community & Interests
Surprisingly, I am an introvert. However, I do know how to be a social butterfly. I do enjoy hosting events or entertaining my guests, yet I also cherish solitude. If I could have a day to myself, it would be starting off with a massage, then indulge in a good book, music, and a glass of wine either on the beach or poolside. That is my kind of day.
Most of my spare time is spent with my family. However, some of my interests include spending time with my church family, social outings with local organizations, and Latin dancing, particularly salsa and bachata. After all, that is how I met my husband.

What I enjoy most about real estate is the opportunity to assist in designing interior and exterior spaces, and producing property video tours. It is like creating my very own HGTV show without actually being on HGTV.
